I am on Week 3, Day 2 of Strength Foundations Challenge. We have used them once so I don't have enough experience with them to get a good feel for them. Although I did use one of them to do some old shoulder physical therapy exercises and it worked okay.

Beginner Resistance Bands

I never used resistance bands before. I used only the green one. It seemed to be the right resistance. I'm not sure if I will use the lighter yellow and red ones, but maybe my wife will. One thing, I had to tie, untie, and retie knots for my exercise. A small piece of the green band broke off. Still, plenty of length to use it.
