Josh certified as a personal trainer in 2011, and is now also a Precision Nutrition-certified coach. On his own, he enjoys pursuing a balanced fitness regimen through strength and cardiovascular training, plenty of flexibility/mobility work, and prioritized recovery. An aspiring Strongfirst coach, he is also very fond of both low and high-intensity kettlebell work. He has helped clients lose upwards of 150 pounds of body fat and gain lean muscle mass by taking command of their nutrition, and their lives, to feed their body the right way.
As a Precision Nutrition coach, he is able to give people the tools they need to fit a healthy lifestyle into their busy schedules. Focusing on a high-level view of overall health, he coaches to improve both physical and mental wellness. This includes but is not limited to: how and what to eat for your body and lifestyle, how to develop habits that serve long-term health and wellness, how to know when it’s time to progress or regress a program or exercise, and how to do that safely. While pain can come from many sources, he might also be able to help you alleviate pain, soreness, or discomfort in your neck, back, or extremities.
These 30 or 60-minute calls might be one-off for you, going over something that you'd like to optimize in your strength training and nutrition. Or, they might be more structured, weekly scheduled calls, where you work with Coach Josh more closely on a long-term basis. They might be virtual training sessions, wherein you work out on the call and Coach Josh is live, able to spot form in the moment and provide helpful cues, as well as motivation.
