Ready for a yoga-packed weekend to supercharge your motivation, work on your technique, and move through 2025 with confidence?

We’re hosting a small group weekend workshop series, limited to 20 people, at the Man Flow Yoga Studio in Austin, Texas.

This is an opportunity to come do yoga workouts with me in-person, to get your form checked, to learn appropriate modifications for your fitness level, and to really dial in your technique. It’s a great way for you to develop confidence in your yoga practice, to hold yourself accountable and get motivated, and to make sure that you stick with your yoga programs for 2025.

The series includes a total of 4 classes, 90 minutes each, which are a combination of tutorials and workouts - you’ll get a nice blend of instruction without exhausting yourself in the process. For sure, we’re going to work hard - but you’ll be able to do it, even if you’re a beginner. (Everybody who has ever attended has been able to stick with it - even the guys in their 70s.)

What will you learn? I’ll focus on the big topics - lower-back pain, increasing flexibility, developing more core strength, improving your balance, getting better at the poses that most guys struggle with.

I call this event a “small group” because it’s limited to a smaller amount of people. Some of our events have had 30, 40, even 50 people. That means you’ll get more attention, there’s a smaller, more intimate feel, so we can make sure we’ll address the questions you have.

Here’s the schedule:

Saturday, May 3

  • (Session 1: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM) Core Strength & Spine Essentials - Strengthen your core, take care of your spine, and build the essentials for a strong body focused on longevity. Get rid of lower-back pain at the source. Strengthen the area responsible for keeping your knees and lower-back healthy. Strengthen the entirety of your core – all of the hip and lower-body muscles, the abs, obliques, and lower-back.
  • (Session 2: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM) Shoulders & Hips Flexibility - Learn the best techniques for increasing flexibility quickly and effectively. Discover how to use breathing techniques to work deeper into postures and develop mobility in your shoulders and hips. Dean will also demonstrate appropriate modifications using blocks and yoga tools to help you practice safely and effectively while improving your range of motion.

Sunday, May 4

  • (Session 3: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM) Strength & Active Mobility for Hips & Shoulders - Build functional strength and flexibility that lasts. Dean will guide you through movements that help you develop strength and mobility in your hips and shoulders, improving performance and preventing injuries. Build fitness that translates into everyday life and supports other workouts.

  • (Session 4: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM) Recovery, Easy Stretching & Stress Relief - Learn how to use yoga for recovery and stress relief. Dean will teach you gentle stretching techniques, breath focus, and body awareness to help reduce anxiety, fight depression, and improve overall mental and emotional well-being. This session is designed to help you relax, recharge, and find balance.

Many of our in-person events, such as our Be The Better You Retreats, are created to be a more intensive experience, and the investment isn’t something that everyone is able or willing to spend.
